We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician / Mechanical Engineer to join our team at our facility near Wrexham. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for executing mechanical activities on-site, diagnosing breakdown faults, and ensuring equipment is properly maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Execute mechanical activities on-site as directed by the engineering manager
- Diagnose breakdown faults in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and process systems
- Ensure equipment, materials, and tools are available for work execution
- Report resources and time utilized, job scope expansion, rework, or deferred maintenance as required
- Provide technical support for machine breakdowns and changeovers
- Apprentice-trained to ONC / HNC / C&G Level 3
- Able to read hydraulics / pneumatics circuits
- Read and produce mechanical drawings
- Carried out PPM on mechanical equipment
- TPM / 6S / Continuous Improvement / Lean experience
- Electrical and mechanical ability essential
- Complex problem-solving and fault-finding experience
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work and learn independently
