Financial Management Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Management Accountant to join our team at Executive Network Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the preparation of monthly accounts, budgets, and forecasts, as well as supporting external audits and the preparation of statutory accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and post regular and one-off journals, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Complete schedules required for the production of management accounts, providing valuable insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Support the Group Management Accountant and Group Financial Controller in the production of budget schedules, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Review potential capital expenditure spending to inform budgeting decisions.
  • Assist the Group Financial Controller in preparing audit schedules as required, maintaining high standards of financial accuracy and transparency.
  • Identify cost savings and efficiencies, implementing process improvements to enhance financial performance.
  • Review and redesign existing accounting processes to facilitate informed decision-making, promoting a culture of financial excellence.
Requirements:
  • A commercially astute and fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with post-qualification practical experience.
  • A good understanding of management accounting principles and practices, with strong financial awareness and analytical skills.
  • The ability to monitor performance against deadlines and milestones, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality financial outputs.
