About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Assistant Branch Manager to join our team at HSS Hire Group. As a key member of our branch team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the branch manager in the absence of the merchant branch manager, providing expert assistance to customers with their hire needs, and actively seeking opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strong customer relationships and secure repeat business through effective sales techniques.
  • Independently support the HSS dedicated area within our partnering builder's merchant, providing expert assistance to customers with their hire needs.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers to optimise sales and drive business growth.
  • Work collaboratively with the branch team to achieve sales targets and meet customer needs.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed performance targets, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines with a strong focus on finding solutions.
  • Excellent organisational abilities, with a talent for balancing workloads and meeting service demands.
  • Holds a valid driver's license and is able to operate a company van.
Working Pattern

The successful candidate will work a standard Monday to Friday 7:30am until 17:30pm and alternative Saturdays 8:00am until 12:00pm.
