Career Opportunity: Facilities Operations Manager
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Operations Manager to oversee our operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Coordinating the employment of in-house or contracted service providers to fulfill approved service requests. Create and uphold a scheduling framework to identify deficiencies and address capability gaps.
- Formulating and regularly updating a strategy for the delivery of services and utilities to satisfy the requirements of the organization and its operational sectors.
- Implementing a control system to track the demand and expenses of all utility services across the organization and its various sectors. Management reports will be generated.
- Overseeing the budget allocation for all utility services. Recognizing potential discrepancies and the necessary corrective measures.
- Creating contingency strategies for each utility to guarantee service continuity in case of supply disruptions.
- Collaborating with Project Teams and relevant internal divisions to assess the provision of all utilities and pinpoint enhancements to minimize costs and environmental impact.
Required Qualifications
- Formal qualifications in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Maintenance, or equivalent fields.
- Understanding of procurement processes and the preparation of purchase order documentation.
- Demonstrated experience in a maintenance department within an engineering or industrial environment.
- Experience in supporting the development of a Planned Preventative Maintenance system.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
