Lead Data Engineer Opportunity at NHS

The NHS is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to take on the overall management and maintenance of their internal Data Platform. This person will be responsible for working with the Business Intelligence Team to upskill them in Azure, Data Factory, and SQL, while also identifying new data sources for acquisition into the Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the NHS's internal Data Platform, including the Data Warehouse and Operational Data Store.
  • Work with the Business Intelligence Team to upskill them in Azure, Data Factory, and SQL.
  • Identify new data sources for acquisition into the Platform.
  • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity.

What We Offer:

  • Basic salary of up to £75,000.
  • 10% Bonus.
  • 25 Days Annual Leave + Christmas Shut Down.
  • 10% Employer pension contribution with the option to contribute 10% more.
  • Fully Remote working.
  • 37.5 Hr Working Week.
