We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Scientist Specialist to join our team at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary Pathology team, you will play a vital role in delivering an effective, high-quality, and responsive service to patients and clinicians.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver the objectives as determined by the POCT committee.
- Be fully trained in the use of all POCT equipment and perform and interpret diagnostic tests within the Health & Care Professions Council Code of Practice.
- Take responsibility for External QC for POCT, including receipt, handling, return, interpretation of complex information, and notification.
- IBMS Specialist portfolio or equivalent.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- IBMS accredited Biomedical Sciences Degree or equivalent.
