Job Title: Estimator / Quantity Surveyor - Pitched Roofing Systems

Location: West Yorkshire

Remuneration: £35,000 - £45,000 neg + bonus tbc

Benefits: Company vehicle & comprehensive benefits package

Job Summary:

Mitchell Maguire is seeking an experienced Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating and managing pitched roofing projects for residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Review project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work
  2. Produce accurate and detailed quotations to clients
  3. Monitor project costs throughout the construction process, identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend values
  4. Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors
  5. Attend pre-contract meetings and progress meetings with clients as required
  6. Prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met
  7. Estimate for projects ranging in value from £10k to £1m
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
  1. Must have either pitched roofing estimating OR roofing quantity surveying experience
  2. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  3. Adaptable individual who can turn their hand to other responsibilities
  4. Full UK driving license
  5. IT literate (Microsoft Office)
  6. Confident and articulate
