Job Title: Senior Audit

Genus PLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Audit professional to join our team. As a Senior Audit, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our internal audit function.

Job Summary

The Senior Audit will be responsible for leading and participating in process and control reviews, providing assurance over strategic, financial, operational, and compliance risks of the Group. You will work closely with business leaders and teams across the Group to identify and mitigate risks, and develop workable solutions to address business objectives and leading best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and participate in process and control reviews to provide assurance over strategic, financial, operational, and compliance risks of the Group.
  • Work closely with business leaders and teams across the Group to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Develop workable solutions to address business objectives and leading best practices.
  • Support the Group risk management process and facilitate risk assessment workshops.
  • Maintain risk registers and other supporting documentation.
Requirements
  • Good auditing experience, preferably with Big 4 experience, with a proven track record of delivering audits within multinational companies.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of audit delivery and practices, internal control frameworks, and risk management activities.
  • Demonstrable track record of developing successful, long-lasting relationships across the business.
  • Strong knowledge of business processes, ideally within a multinational company.
  • Knowledge of current trends within the audit function, with the ability to leverage data analytics, process improvement methodologies, and auditing software.
Qualifications
  • A degree-level education in a business administration, accounting, or relevant field.
  • Significant relevant work experience, preferably within a Top 6 firm or internal audit experience.
  • Professional certification or equivalent in a relevant area.
