We are pleased to present an opportunity for a seasoned Adult Band 6 Nurse to join our dynamic Emergency Department. We seek dedicated and experienced professionals who can collaborate with our clinical team to provide exceptional patient care while mentoring junior staff members.

We are in search of an individual who is driven, passionate, and possesses outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, along with the capacity to lead effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a progressive Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record and be eager to showcase their leadership capabilities. You should be adept at making quick decisions to navigate the challenges presented by this stimulating and fast-paced role.

The successful applicant will receive support from two ED Matrons and a Head of Nursing, all of whom are committed to guiding the ED Teams.

Our Emergency Department caters to over 100,000 patients annually, with more than 100 LAS attendances each day. We also feature an integrated Paediatric Emergency Department, which provides support for young individuals and adolescents, in collaboration with various services.

In our department, we benefit from the expertise of diverse multidisciplinary teams, such as STARRs and the Frailty team, to enhance patient experiences and care.
