Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Head of Legal and Compliance to join our team at JMC Legal Recruitment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all legal aspects of the company, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Navigate the complexities of compliance, regulatory standards, and risk management.
  • Provide strategic legal guidance to support the company's rapid growth.
  • Lead the development of robust legal processes and foster a culture of compliance across the organization.
  • Liaise with the company's panel of external lawyers.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in a legal role, preferably in a Tier 1 law firm and in-house experience.
  • Experience in Start-Up/Scale-Up environments within the Financial Services and AI/Tech sectors is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a demanding, entrepreneurial environment with a positive working attitude.
