Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Premises Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the commercial operations, working closely with the Regional Director to ensure commercial targets are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the commercial team to achieve commercial targets and objectives.
  • Develop and implement cost control strategies to reduce commercial risk.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct CVR, forecasting, cost, and contractor management.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant field.
  • Professional membership (desirable).
  • Essential experience in housing and local authority works.

Key Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Competent in cost control and commercial risk reduction.
  • Proficient in Excel.

This role will require managing a Commercial Team based in Wisbech but can be based out of the Grantham Office with travel to Wisbech 3 or possibly 2 days per week. The role may also require travel to other regional offices in the central region North Cambs/Lincs.
