Key Responsibilities- Provide expert legal advice on employment law matters, including general employment issues, drafting service agreements, contracts of employment, and staff handbooks.
- Assist in the development and implementation of employment policies, including performance, sickness, and misconduct procedures.
- Support in transactional corporate work, including wrongful and unfair dismissal, redundancy, and restructuring.
- Conduct employment litigation in the employment tribunal and provide awareness of boardroom disputes and severance claims.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing tailored advice and support to meet their needs.
- 6+ years of PQE gained within a strong regional, national, or city firm.
- Interest in and aptitude for business development and growth opportunities.
- Strong drive to produce high-quality work and documentation.
- Flexible approach to work to ensure client deadlines are met and clients are communicated with regularly.
- Knowledge of clientele within the Essex, surrounding area, and nationally.
