About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Team Leader to join our team at The Dockyard. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation and collaborate with the kitchen manager to produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
  • Oversee and supervise the kitchen team in the absence of the kitchen manager, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist with stock management, ordering, and management of supplies to maintain a well-stocked and organized kitchen.
  • Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean, and hygienic condition at all times, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Offer suggestions and creative ideas to improve the kitchen's performance and contribute to the development of new menu items.
  • Lead the team to achieve company targets and objectives, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
