The Senior Director of Product Management plays a pivotal role within HelpSystems LLC's Product Strategy division, collaborating with fellow executives to lead product management excellence across all product teams and nurturing cross-departmental success to achieve strategic goals and drive value creation. In this position, the Senior Director will guide teams in executing product vision and strategy while establishing operational consistency in Product Management practices. The ideal candidate will adopt a systematic and incremental approach to both functional and cross-functional excellence, directing focus and resources towards critical priorities and enabling significant execution to meet ambitious targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee and continuously enhance a robust Product Management team, utilizing a scorecard for key responsibilities, deliverables, best practices, and KPIs.
  • Design, recruit, and cultivate a high-performing product management team employing modern product discovery and delivery methodologies.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and promote a multi-year product vision that aligns with the company’s overarching strategy and supports our mission.
  • Engage directly with customers, prospects, and partners to identify market needs and prioritize a strategy and product roadmap using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Work alongside cross-functional leaders to gather and analyze data from various sources to inform product strategy development (e.g., customer feedback, sales data, user behavior, competitive market trends).
  • Support career development pathways for product management teams at all levels, including defining roles and responsibilities.
  • Inspire product, engineering, and design teams to focus on ambitious outcomes while shaping their mindset to achieve smaller objectives that contribute to larger goals.
  • Prepare and present business cases to support investment strategies in selected initiatives.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to ensure that our offerings provide superior capabilities compared to competitors and effectively meet and anticipate customer needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to identify, prioritize, and target key customer segments, unlocking new opportunities to create value and drive revenue.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop compelling messaging and product positioning that drives customer engagement across the company’s portfolio of communication channels.
  • Measure the success of the product portfolio based on key metrics such as ARR bookings, growth, and retention, continuously refining strategies to enhance overall company performance.
  • Work with the AR/PR team to cultivate and manage relationships with analyst communities to achieve consistently positive analyst ratings and recommendations.
  • Foster a culture of trust and accountability that aligns with HelpSystems LLC's Core Values and Leadership Principles.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience leading, managing, and scaling a high-performing team.
  • Expertise in B2B technology, cybersecurity, and software.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional training or certification.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate a compelling vision.
  • Strong understanding of core business pillars (Strategy, Operations, and People).
  • Extensive experience guiding teams towards Product Management frameworks and best practices.
  • Proven track record in strategic planning and execution tied to goals, objectives, metrics, and outcomes.
