EMEA Flavor Solutions Supply Chain Planning Director

Reporting to the EMEA Flavor Solutions Supply Chain and Operations Director, this role provides strategic leadership and direction for the EMEA Planning organization. You will drive the achievement of supply chain and business objectives by establishing clear operating strategies, objectives, goals, and action plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct the EMEA Flavor Solutions Planning team to ensure the achievement of goals and effective balancing of service, cost, and inventory objectives. Manage constraints related to inventory, manufacturing capacity, material requirements, copacker requirements, distribution capacity, and prevention/elimination of excess inventory.
  • Accountable for leading and executing the Supply process thread within the EMEA Flavor Solutions Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the EMEA Planning department to support the strategic objectives of the EMEA Flavor Solutions business unit and the Global Supply Chain Operations function.
  • Lead, develop, and coach the Planning team, providing direct and indirect leadership to Planning employees in HQ and plant locations across EMEA. This includes performance management, talent management, succession planning, and team development.
  • Establish processes to ensure the continual integrity of medium/long-term planning parameters (lot size, lead times, Days of Supply, Safety Stock, etc.). Monitor key performance metrics (Case fill rate, Schedule Compliance, Time Fence Violations, Projected Inventory, SLOB) and communicate significant variances or potential issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on planning activities and objectives.
