Job Title: Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Recruitment Unlimited (SW). As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting a wide range of recycling equipment, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations on recycling equipment, including balers, compactors, and shredders.
  • Conduct thorough fault-finding and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a high level of professionalism and responsiveness to customer needs.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing work schedules.
  • Represent the client's service department, building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in field service engineering, preferably in the recycling industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of recycling equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
  • Valid driving license and ability to travel extensively throughout the UK and Northern Ireland.
