Class 1 Tramper Relief Driver

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Tramper Relief Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 1 Tramper Relief Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering customers' products on a curtain-sided trailer, ensuring load security using ratchet straps.
Key Responsibilities:- Delivering loads throughout the UK, both full and groupage loads.
- Using a handheld PDA to complete paperwork.
- Dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone.
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing customers' expectations.
- Attending regular training sessions.
- Must have a UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence.
- Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Working to deadlines.
- Confident, polite, and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Salary from £33,033pa to £37,838pa, and more depending on hours worked. PLUS circa £2,600pa shift premium. PLUS up to £5,005pa Tax Free night out allowance.
