We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Clerk to join our team at Addington Ball, a specialist finance and accounting recruitment consultancy. As a Financial Clerk, you will play a crucial role in providing day-to-day bookkeeping services and support to our small business clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Submit VAT returns and perform day-to-day bookkeeping for clients from various transactional streams
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts and provide financial analysis and reporting
- Work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored bookkeeping solutions
- Collaborate with our team to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in our clients' financial operations
- Previous bookkeeping experience gained within an accountancy practice or from within an accounts function in industry
- Practical knowledge of accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage
- Ongoing training and CPD development to stay up-to-date with industry developments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues
