We are currently seeking a Seating and Restraints Engineering Specialist to join our team at Contechs Consulting, a prominent partner in the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Seating and Restraints Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  1. Joining the body interior division to focus on seating and restraint systems.
  2. Reporting directly to the Principal Engineer, you will manage technical project oversight and engineering tasks related to seating and restraint systems.
  3. Overseeing component and system-level delivery at each project milestone, from initial styling feasibility to series production, while collaborating daily with the concept, styling, and purchasing teams.
  4. Establishing and nurturing technical relationships with a global supplier network to ensure timely delivery of new features, adhering to cost, quality, and functional specifications.
  5. Utilizing CATIA V5 for both 2D and 3D design tasks.
  6. Leveraging previous experience in OEM or tier one environments to facilitate technical delivery within the automotive industry.
  7. Managing and delivering DFMEA, engineering statements of work, engineering releases, resolution of concerns, and DVP, while supporting the development and release phases of the project.
  8. Possessing materials knowledge with a fundamental understanding of metals, foams, plastics, and composites.
