Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team at Williams Racing. As a key member of our Inspection team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our components and meeting the high standards of our Formula One team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize metrology skills and techniques to inspect components and ensure they meet drawing specifications.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth workflow and high standards of inspection.
  • Apply knowledge of carbon-fibre manufacturing techniques to ensure quality production.
  • Process priority work in a timely manner and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Recognised apprenticeship or relevant experience in a similar environment.
  • Proficiency in operating basic metrology hand tools and assisting in metallic quality control.
  • Solid understanding of GD&T and ability to apply knowledge daily.
  • Good understanding of carbon-fibre manufacturing techniques and keen eye for detail.
  • Previous experience with Absolute arms and Leica trackers (Polyworks software) is highly advantageous.
