Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs Support Assistant to join our team at TimePlan Education. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.

About the Role

As a Support Assistant, you will work closely with students aged 5-18 who have diverse needs, including Autism, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, severe learning difficulties, and communication disorders. Your primary responsibility will be to assist students in their educational journey, providing both academic support and personal care as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children and young adults in their learning and development.
  • Assist with personal care tasks when necessary.
  • Utilize excellent interpersonal skills to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Maintain a valid DBS registration or be prepared to apply for one.
  • Commit to working 5 days a week for a minimum duration.
