The Quality Project Manager plays a pivotal role in steering and directing quality enhancement initiatives within the organization. This position entails the formulation, execution, and maintenance of quality assurance standards, ensuring that products or services align with established benchmarks. The Quality Project Manager collaborates extensively with various departments to pinpoint improvement opportunities, strategize and implement projects, and monitor progress to realize targeted results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead and oversee multiple quality enhancement projects from inception to completion, developing comprehensive project plans that include scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Quality Assurance: Design and enforce quality assurance protocols and procedures, ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulations, and certifications.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Gather, analyze, and interpret quality data to identify trends and areas for enhancement, preparing and presenting reports on project progress and quality metrics to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and customer service, to implement quality improvement initiatives, facilitating meetings and providing project updates to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Training and Development: Create training programs on quality standards and procedures for staff, mentoring and coaching team members on quality improvement techniques and best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and lead initiatives to boost efficiency and effectiveness, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence within the organization.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in quality management, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in quality management or project management, preferably in relevant industries.
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and quality management tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP) is advantageous.
