Job Description

Job Title: Timber Windows Fabricator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Timber Windows Fabricator to join our team at SPS Timber Windows. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating high-quality timber windows and doors using CNC machines and traditional joinery techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate timber windows and doors using CNC machines and traditional joinery techniques
  • Operate tenoning machines, spindle moulders, and planning machines to produce high-quality components
  • Assist in the assembly and installation of windows and doors on-site
  • Work with the workshop manager to plan and organize production schedules and supervise other team members
  • Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of workshop equipment and tools

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in joinery workshops, including CNC machine operation and traditional joinery techniques
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software and programming languages

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm. The role will involve working in a fast-paced production environment, with regular on-site installation work. A Folk lift license and driving license would be advantageous.
