Main Responsibilities

Job Summary
This role is designed for a dedicated Senior Musculoskeletal Podiatrist. The successful candidate will engage in comprehensive patient assessment, treatment planning, and management of musculoskeletal conditions.

The position offers an excellent opportunity to enhance skills in diagnosing and treating a variety of musculoskeletal disorders, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team including Consultants and other healthcare professionals.

The post holder will be responsible for delivering high-quality care in outpatient settings, participating in clinical governance, and contributing to service development initiatives.

Key Duties

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for patients with musculoskeletal issues.
  • Manage patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, ensuring optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient management.
  • Engage in clinical audits and quality improvement projects to enhance service delivery.
  • Participate in educational activities, including training and mentoring junior staff.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and advancements in podiatric care.
