Job Title: Transmission Engineer

Investigo is seeking a skilled Transmission Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our network services team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our unified communications network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop unified network strategies, including network design and roadmaps.
  • Ensure day-to-day operational performance of the UC network meets agreed SLAs and KPIs.
  • Implement changes to the UC network to meet ongoing business demands.
  • Deliver continuous service improvement and emergency response to critical incidents.
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of TCP/IP and concepts, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN.
  • Experience with cloud-based telephony systems, such as Ring Central and 8x8.
Requirements:
  • Proven technical experience in local area networks, internet services, telephone systems, call centre services, mobile services, video conferencing, telephony, and other hardware and software.
  • Experience working with third-party providers of network services.
  • Unified communications solution delivery and support.
  • Delivering/supporting fixed line and NGN/VGN services.
  • Delivering mobile technology (hardware and services).
  • Video conferencing solution architecture and delivery.
  • Experience of delivering rapid deployment connectivity solutions into challenging geographical locations.
  • Experience of running an MDM solution.
  • Technical knowledge of customer network systems.
  • Technical knowledge of both on-premise and cloud Windows environments.
