About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified SEND teacher to work in a school in Merton, supporting children and young people with a variety of learning needs. You will be responsible for planning engaging and holistic sessions that meet the needs of each individual, advancing their educational and social-emotional journey.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver high-quality teaching sessions that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students, promoting their social-emotional development and academic progress.
- Collaborate with the support team to ensure a successful placement for each student.
- Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS / PGCE / B.Ed / PTLLS / DTLLS / CELTA).
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience, preferably in a SEND setting.
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs.
- Enhanced DBS check and ability to obtain a translated Overseas Police Check if necessary.
- Two professional references covering the last 24 months.
- A competitive salary of £34,000 - £47,000 per annum.
- Full-time position with opportunities for progression and upskilling.
