Electrical Engineer Job Description

Location: Leicestershire

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

A Leicestershire based manufacturing company is seeking a Graduate/Junior Electrical Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering processes, as well as excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and equipment
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the sales and technical sales efforts, including new contracts and spare parts sales

Requirements:

  • BEng or equivalent electrical/electromechanical engineering qualification or relevant discipline
  • Positive and keen-to-learn attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
