Compass Associates is seeking an experienced and skilled Supported Living Operations Manager to lead our operations in the North West region.
About the RoleWe are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to manage our supported living services in the North West region. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading excellence and continuous improvement in service delivery and financial performance across services for adults with learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of Regional Managers to ensure effective support, supervision, and appraisal for all staff in the area.
- Embed a coaching culture, mentor new Regional Managers, and support existing Regional Managers with their professional development.
- Monitor absence levels in the area and ensure effective management in line with Compass Associates' policies.
- Investigate and document complaints, ensuring that the people we support are safeguarded and staff understand safeguarding and whistleblowing processes.
- Develop and implement quality management and continuous improvement systems, undertaking regular audits of Regional Managers' work and reporting on quality standards within the region.
- Ensure regulatory standards are maintained and effective monitoring processes are in place to ensure quality.
- Champion continuous improvement and the implementation of best practices such as Person Centred Active Support, STOMP, PBS, and national PMLD standards.
- Prepare regular performance reports for the Operations Director, reporting on progress against regional development plan targets, overall operational performance, and key risks.
- A sound working knowledge of learning disabilities and mental health.
- A demonstrable track record of leading excellence and continuous improvement in service delivery and financial performance across services for adults with learning disabilities.
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
