We are seeking an experienced Civils Supervisor to join our team in Glasgow and surrounding areas.

Circet UK is a leading provider of specialist services to the Telecommunications, Transport Infrastructure, and Power Sectors in Ireland and the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing workflows, surveying and programming work streams for the supply chain, and organizing staff to carry out required works efficiently. They will also manage the full project lifecycle from allocation to closure, ensuring quality and the return of relevant packs to close out jobs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage workflows and optimize staff allocation to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Manage the project lifecycle, including quality control and the return of relevant packs.
  • Address non-conformance and non-compliance early to minimize cost impact.
  • Coach and mentor field operatives to improve quality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Works Control and Noticing departments.
  • Carry out in-progress audits and coach sub-contractors on site to identify and implement innovations that improve site safety.
  • Identify and prepare submissions for DFEs (Design for Excellence) for client approval.
  • Maintain accurate daily records of works planned and issues encountered.

Requirements:

  • Experience and strong understanding of the SROH (Site Risk and Opportunity Handbook).
  • NRSWA accreditation to Supervisor level.
  • Understanding of WIP (Work in Progress) vs Cash.
  • Strategic and Commercial Awareness: ability to understand and consider business impact of decisions.
  • Knowledge of permit to work schemes and noticing.
  • Experience of dealing with external stakeholders and effective communication.
  • Ability to understand client quality requirements.
  • IOSH desirable.
