Position Overview:

Axiom Software Solutions Limited is in search of a skilled Business Analyst to contribute to cyber technology initiatives within the organization. This role presents a unique opportunity to influence future technology projects and programs by collaborating with a dedicated team to drive meaningful change.

As a Business Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to gather, clarify, translate, and communicate the requirements essential for enhancing our current technology services.


Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate across various departments to comprehend stakeholder requirements, align these needs with functional objectives, and facilitate effective communication between stakeholders and the project or program team.


System Analysis and Clarification:

Assess existing applications and processes by utilizing technical specifications, process flows, and system maps. Identify strengths and areas for improvement, and work with teams to propose viable solutions.


Requirements Definition and Prioritization:

Accurately translate stakeholder needs into clear and concise requirements (both functional and non-functional) that can be utilized by the project team to develop solutions. Apply prioritization frameworks to assist in scope definition and contribute to scope-related decisions.


Support Solution Development:

Collaborate with the project team and technology experts to translate requirements into technical solutions, ensuring that these solutions align with business needs.


Coordination and Reporting:

Generate reports and visual aids to support project decision-making. Provide teams with broader context through research and analysis, and assist throughout the delivery cycle by offering project context and quality assurance.


Qualifications:

Education:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field is required. Relevant professional certification (e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional) is preferred.

Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience as a senior business analyst on complex IT projects and programs is essential.
  • Familiarity with cyber security frameworks, processes, and tools is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in delivering technical solutions.

Skills:
  • Extensive experience in requirements definition and system modeling for technology service management.
  • Strong grasp of modeling techniques (e.g., use cases, activity diagrams) and various software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Exceptional analytical skills and intellectual curiosity, with the ability to challenge assumptions and provide detailed analysis.
  • Solid understanding of technology services and project interdependencies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly define and provide a framework for managing change (e.g., changes to scope).
  • Capacity to collaborate with engineers and architects to translate program-level requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Comfort in working independently with end users and navigating some level of ambiguity.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
