Overview:
NHS Supply Chain is seeking a dedicated Commercial Compliance Lead to join our team during a transformative phase aimed at enhancing the NHS's ability to prioritize patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of a commercial compliance framework across the organization.
- Oversee the commercial aspects of the business quality management system, adapting to external environmental changes.
- Ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations, aligning with the risk appetite established by the SCCL Board, and set standards for processes and controls.

- Act as the subject matter expert on Public Contract Regulations, conducting horizon scanning for the organization to maintain high operational standards.

- Support the enforcement and evaluation of compliance standards for product assurance processes, collaborating with category management teams.

- Coordinate efforts with various teams, focusing on sustainability, quality, corporate regulatory requirements (e.g., management of licenses), social value, and scope 3 emissions.
