Position: Field Service Engineer (Mobile Mechanic/Vehicle Technician)

Location: Romford & Southend of Sea Territory

Working Hours: 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: £31,000 - £34,000 Starting Salary (Plus Regular Pay Reviews)

About the Role:
Join a leading international manufacturer of forklift trucks as a Field Service Engineer. This role offers a local field-based position with extensive on-the-job training and a generous benefits package, along with clear pathways for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct planned maintenance and respond to breakdowns on a variety of materials handling machinery.
- Provide reactive support within the designated geographical area.
- Engage in comprehensive training to become fully proficient in operating all machinery and equipment.
- Ensure spare parts are organized and available in the service vehicle overnight.

Candidate Requirements:
- Experience with plant machinery, forklifts, HGVs, agricultural equipment, or automotive technicians/motor trade is essential.
- Proficiency in engine diagnostics and basic electrical skills is preferred.
- Ideally possess a level 3 qualification or equivalent in a relevant field.
