Patient Coordinator with Data Validation Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Coordinator with Data Validation skills to join our Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide administrative and secretarial support to our Consultants and Medical Team, ensuring the efficient delivery of patient care and services. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing accurate and timely administrative support, including data entry and validation.
  2. Working collaboratively with the administration team to ensure service delivery and adequate administration cover.
  3. Supporting the Team Leader with data quality issues and identifying errors on data entry.
  4. Utilizing Microsoft Office packages and hospital computer systems to ensure proficient use of technology.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Educated to GCSE grade C or above in literacy and numeracy, with NVQ level three in administration or equivalent experience.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • IT capability to ensure proficient use of hospital computer systems.
