Position Overview

FPSG Connect is excited to offer a permanent opportunity for a certified Project Manager, with options for remote work and full-time on-site engagement. This role is particularly suited for individuals possessing formal qualifications in recognized Project Management methodologies such as PRINCE 2 Practitioner, Managing Successful Programs, or PMP. You will work alongside a significant player in the Public Sector, who is prepared to assist you through the SC Clearance process. If you have a track record of managing medium to large-scale projects from inception to completion and meet the SC Clearance requirements, this is an opportunity to explore further.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing project definitions, timelines, budgets, and objectives for medium-sized initiatives.
  • Drafting comprehensive statements of work and securing stakeholder approval.
  • Engaging in delivery assurance assessments and pinpointing project risks.
  • Overseeing modifications to technical and business specifications, along with project timelines.
  • Facilitating project staffing and coordinating team members for effective communication and task execution.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • A passion for teamwork and innovative problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in project management software and solid leadership capabilities.
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities concurrently and collaborating within virtual teams.
  • Ability to cultivate and sustain professional relationships.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Prior experience in managing medium to large-scale projects.
  • Formal Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE 2, MSP, PMP).
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Familiarity with various project management methodologies.
  • Experience with business objectives and project execution.
  • Knowledge in business applications, supplier/vendor management, and project phases.
