Electrical Equipment Manager Opportunity

Location: Flexible, with options for onsite and remote work

Work Arrangement: Flexible approach to onsite and remote working, typically 2-3 days a week on-site

Salary: Up to £55,000 depending on experience

The Role:

As an Electrical Equipment Manager, you will be responsible for managing equipment and related aspects, serving as the Equipment Requirement Authority (ERA) to support the project. This is a technical management role, not a people management position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project manage the delivery of electrical/electronic equipment during development, qualification, and manufacture
  • Manage project relationships with internal and external design authorities/customers to deliver hardware and software that meet schedule, cost, quality, and performance requirements
  • Produce Statements of Work and review qualification verification evidence
  • Track and resolve non-compliances
  • Arrange design reviews with appropriate partners
  • Control assigned budgets and manage work packages
  • Handle risks and opportunities

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent qualification with experience in electrical/electronic engineering or a related subject (e.g., physics, data communications, EMC, etc.)

Security Clearance:

Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to gain UK government security clearance. To achieve this, you must hold British or dual nationality.
