Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team at Bright Horizons Warrington & Callands Day Nursery and Preschool. As a Bank Staff Member, you will have the flexibility to work when you want, while enjoying the security and benefits of being an employee.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Nursery colleagues in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, and encouraging their development towards key milestones.
- Work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands, including hygiene standards and room preparation.
- Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive, happy, and safe environment for children and colleagues.
Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery setting, including roles such as Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, or Childminder.
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
- Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
