Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Psychiatric Consultant
A remarkable opportunity has emerged for a committed Senior Psychiatric Consultant & Deputy Medical Director to join a prestigious private healthcare facility.
You will be part of one of the UK's foremost healthcare organizations, renowned for its recovery-oriented services addressing a diverse array of mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the execution of risk evaluations and management strategies while integrating clinical governance.
- Supervise documentation for Mental Health Act tribunals and managerial hearings, and participate in these hearings.
- Engage in the on-call rota, approximately every 1 in 6 or 7 weeks.
Qualifications:
- Must possess full GMC registration and be on the specialist register for general adult psychiatry, along with MBBS qualification or its equivalent.
- Extensive experience and expertise in adult psychiatry and mental health assessment.
- Thorough understanding of the Mental Health Act and its Code of Practice, as well as the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and its Code of Capacity.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of interviewing, assessing, and treating patients while producing clear and comprehensive medical documentation.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Attractive salary package of up to £90,000 annually.
