About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Marketing Manager to support our Brand and Marketing Director in driving the success of The Gut Health Doctor. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and implementing social media strategies, creating captivating content, and managing social media accounts, preferably in the health and wellbeing sector.

The successful candidate will be a confident and capable project manager and communicator with a positive and proactive personality. They will have a strong understanding of digital marketing principles and be able to utilize data to inform social media strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to engage our audience and drive brand awareness
  • Create and edit high-quality content for social media use, including videos and Reels
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to inform future strategy and optimize campaign performance
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices to ensure a competitive edge
  • Collaborate with the Brand and Marketing Director to develop and implement paid social media campaigns
  • Support the Brand and Marketing Director with broader marketing activity, including content creation, campaign management, and team collaboration
Requirements
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Social Media Marketing, with at least 1 year in a management role
  • Strong understanding of social media management principles, including content creation, community management, and paid advertising
  • Experience with social media analytics tools and data-driven decision making
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
