Your Responsibilities:

  • Assemble parts into a fully configured product using process documentation, technical drawings, and specialized tools, measuring devices, and hand tools.
  • Conduct repairs and testing of products following established procedures, technical drawings, and utilizing specialized tools and measuring devices, incorporating Engineering Change Notices as necessary.
  • Assess customer returns to identify necessary repair actions to meet customer specifications and product assembly standards.
  • Diagnose product issues to the sub-assembly level using technical drawings and basic testing equipment, and may troubleshoot to the component level using circuit schematics.
  • Perform interim inspections of products at designated stages to ensure the accuracy of work. May conduct final inspections in accordance with dispatch protocols and authorize release documentation prior to customer delivery.
  • Provide training and assistance to team members as needed.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
  • Execute tasks in accordance with current standard operating procedures and quality management systems.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
  • Carry out routine minor maintenance tasks.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Engage in collaborative problem-solving within small teams.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a qualification equivalent to ONC in Electronic Engineering or
  • Completed a recognized Engineering Apprenticeship or
  • Have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in electronic and pneumatic engineering, as well as electrical and mechanical assembly techniques, demonstrating a proven ability to fulfill the role's requirements.
  • Familiarity with MRP systems and Production Control systems, along with Advanced Manufacturing Techniques.
  • Proficient in computer applications, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
