Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CV Technical. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform electrical maintenance tasks with a strong understanding of mechanical systems (80/20, 70/30)
  2. Conduct planned and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize production
  3. Reduce reactive work (breakdowns, repairs) and increase proactive work (continuous improvement) to achieve business targets
  4. Ensure the safe operation of machinery and improve site facilities across a broad scope (buildings, offices, production lines, warehouse)
  5. Carry out routine maintenance tasks on Site Services (Compressed air systems, HPHW systems, hydraulic systems, package boilers, cooling towers, and refrigeration plant)
  6. Fault find and rectify electrical and basic mechanical faults in a modern production environment to include PLC control systems

Requirements

  1. Time served (apprenticeship) electrical/maintenance engineer
  2. 3-5 years' practical experience in a process-oriented environment
  3. Heavy industry experience
  4. Experience with HV systems
  5. COMPEX certification (advantageous)
