Job Title: Compliance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team at esure Group. As a key member of our Risk and Compliance function, you will play a critical role in ensuring our business operations align with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the 2nd line of defence for financial crime, coordinating anti-money laundering, financial sanctions, and terrorist financing controls.
  • Ensure esure's systems align with regulatory requirements and collaborate with the first line to maintain robust controls.
  • Lead all aspects of the management and reporting of compliance and conduct risks, encouraging a strong compliance culture.
  • Stay updated on UK and EU regulatory developments, liaise with regulators, and ensure policies are current.
  • Act as a compliance expert, advising senior leaders on control environments to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Interpret and communicate new regulatory requirements to senior management, ensuring products and services comply.
  • Provide compliance input to business transformation initiatives and ensure preparedness for regulatory changes.
  • Offer analysis on regulatory and risk developments, contributing to executive and board reporting.
  • Support the Senior Managers & Certification Regime, including maintaining regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the Risk & Compliance team for knowledge sharing.
  • Assist in embedding a customer-focused compliance culture.
  • Review and develop LMS training to meet regulatory standards.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar compliance/audit role within Financial Services, ideally in Insurance.
  • Solid understanding of the UK Regulatory environment and relevant legislation.
  • Experience interpreting regulatory changes and assessing their impact on the business.
  • Ability to review procedures, communicate findings, and influence senior management to ensure compliance.
