We are seeking an experienced PR Account Director to join our team at a brilliant independent PR agency. This agency has a fantastic reputation in the industry and is looking to grow, requiring someone with a strategic mindset who shares their drive and ambition to be the best.

About the Role

As our next PR Account Director, you will have the opportunity to be part of the senior leadership team, playing a key role in delivering the agency's long-term growth plan. You will be responsible for heading up key client accounts, developing effective communications strategies, and building strong media contacts to secure great media opportunities for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead client accounts, providing senior consultancy and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Develop and execute communications strategies aligned with client objectives
  • Build and maintain strong media relationships to secure media opportunities
  • Identify new business opportunities and lead on pitches and proposals
  • Lead team meetings and manage a team, providing support and ensuring high-quality work

Requirements

  • Proven track-record of planning and managing successful PR campaigns
  • Strategic and commercial mindset with sophisticated copywriting skills
  • Well-established media network and strong understanding of print, broadcast, online, and social media
  • Experience working on proposals and pitching for new business
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with experience building and growing client relationships

This role is commutable from Birmingham, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, and North Warwickshire.
