We are seeking a talented Junior Developer to join our dynamic team at Evo Talent - Recruitment Reinvented. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) of our SaaS booking management system.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Continuously improving the UI/UX of our booking management system to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Developing mobile-responsive features and applications to cater to our growing customer base.
- Implementing new features based on customer feedback to drive business growth.
- Collaborating with our development team and Product Owner to design platform solutions that meet our customers' evolving needs.
- Taking ownership of projects from conception to deployment, working closely with senior developers to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Conducting thorough testing and quality assurance to guarantee platform efficiency and responsiveness.
- Troubleshooting and debugging errors as needed to maintain a high level of system reliability.
- Creating and maintaining internal and external documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency.
- Adapting to changing requirements and milestones to ensure our system remains competitive and innovative.
We are looking for a proactive learner with a keen eye for detail and a passion for improving user experiences. Ideal candidates will possess:
- Some experience as a Junior Developer or similar role.
- Experience in developing web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency in front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Vue 2.6, React).
- Basic knowledge of back-end languages (PHP, ).
- Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) and UI/UX design principles.
- Understanding of APIs and their utilisation.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail, debugging, and optimisation abilities.
- An analytical mindset.
- A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a relevant field is ideal but not essential.
