**Job Summary**

At Taylorollinson, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Inorganic Chemist to join our team as a Team Leader in our Analytical Chemistry department. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for managing a small team of junior scientists and supporting the Team Leader/Lab Manager with the coordination of the laboratory.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage a small team of junior scientists, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of laboratory tasks.
  • Support the Team Leader/Lab Manager with the coordination of the laboratory, including the planning and execution of laboratory projects.
  • Prepare laboratory samples and reagents, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Perform equipment troubleshooting and maintenance, ensuring the laboratory equipment is in good working order.

**Requirements**

  • Existing UK work eligibility is essential.
  • BSc/MSc or equivalent work experience in Chemistry or a related field is essential.
  • Prior industry experience with analytical techniques, such as GC-MS, GC, HPLC, and LC-MS, is essential.
  • Prior experience supervising/training junior staff members is essential.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with ion chromatography and/or combustion chemistry is essential.
