We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult Mental Health Team in Stockport.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to vulnerable adults, working closely with the team to ensure their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage mental health needs of service users, including carrying out Mental Health Act assessments.
- Develop and implement effective care plans, working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies.
- Provide direct support and interventions to service users, including crisis intervention and risk management.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of team policies and procedures.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of service user care plans.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be a qualified social worker with a minimum of 2 years' experience in an adult social work team, holding a DipSW or equivalent qualification and being registered with the HCPC. A current CRB and driving license are also essential.
