Job Title: Tech Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead to join our team at Mindera. As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading our client's core engineering team and driving the development of shared services and core components on the Azure cloud stack.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining core services and cross-cutting components that form the foundation of the fintech platform.
  • Architect and implement shared services on the Azure cloud stack to support various application teams in building bespoke apps and journeys efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and other stakeholders to define and prioritize technical requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee the integration of modern technologies and cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and security.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality code standards.
  • Develop and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development methodologies across the team.
  • Mentor and support junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing projects.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying this knowledge to enhance the platform's capabilities.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes via managed libraries.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in software development, with a strong focus on fintech applications and cloud-based architectures in compliant environments.
  • Proven track record of leading development teams and delivering high-quality secure and performant software solutions.
  • Deep expertise in modern tech stacks, particularly in Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API development, and integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to drive projects to completion.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working effectively with diverse teams.
  • Experience with database management and optimization, particularly with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with security best practices in fintech, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Flexibility with working hours and ability to travel to client sites.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with agile development practices and methodologies.
