Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Edwards & Pearce in Worksop. As a key member of our Industrial Control & Protection division, you will be responsible for supporting the industrialisation of new products, leading or supporting others to deliver capital projects, and providing engineering support to improve production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the industrialisation of new products, including specific ProLaunch tasks.
  • Lead and support others to deliver capital projects, including purchasing equipment and implementing factory layout changes.
  • Be responsible for all factory layout changes, maintaining an up-to-date layout in CAD.
  • Participate or lead continuous improvement events, such as TPM and problem-solving, to drive efficiency and improve production processes.
  • Support machine guarding and electrical tester remediation tasks.
  • Develop and implement multi-axis ABB robot programming to optimise efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Minimum HND or BEng in Engineering/Manufacturing.
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing capital projects, circa £.
  • Electrical knowledge, including PLC, would be an advantage.
  • Project management training, such as PMI, would be beneficial.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Inventor.
  • Strong project management skills and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
