Job Title: Clinical Lead Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join our client's dedicated team in providing high-quality care to elderly residents in their nursing home.

About the Role

The Clinical Lead will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of person-centred care and maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice for older adults in a nursing home setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing team, ensuring efficient and effective coordination of care for elderly residents.
  • Conduct regular assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, residents, and families.
  • Oversee medication management, ensuring adherence to protocols and that residents receive prescribed medications on time and in the appropriate manner.
  • Implement and monitor infection control measures to uphold the safety and well-being of older residents and staff.
  • Act as a clinical resource, providing support, mentorship, and training to staff, driving continuous improvement in clinical practices.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment, promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion within the nursing home care setting.
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse (Adult) qualification with a valid UK NMC Pin.
  • Proven experience in a nursing role within a nursing home or elderly care setting, with a focus on older adults.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with strong communication and interpersonal skills tailored to older adults.
  • Sound understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in elderly care for older adults in a nursing home setting.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
