Job Title: Cleaning/Waste Operative

ABM UK is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning/Waste Operative to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our client's warehouse environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality janitorial services, including cleaning and sanitizing of surfaces, floors, and equipment.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as sweepers and scrubber-dryers.
  • Handle and dispose of waste generated on site, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Respond to spills and callouts from the client's on-site team.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • Basic DBS check and willingness to participate in random drug and alcohol testing.
  • First Aid at Work certificate (desirable).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment.
