Job Summary:

The Instrumentation Specialist will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of control and instrumentation systems in our production facilities. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair control and instrumentation systems, including analyzers, measurement systems, shutdown systems, and control systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure that all maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to improve system performance and efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance personnel and contractors.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including procedures, manuals, and training materials.

Requirements:

  • Formal instrumentation apprenticeship or tertiary vocational qualification in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of post-apprenticeship experience in control and instrumentation systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of control and instrumentation systems, including analyzers, measurement systems, shutdown systems, and control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
